                            Meet the Doctor

         


Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Mantooth grew up in the Jacksonville area, and is a graduate of The Bolles High School. He attended Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in biology, and attended Emory University Dental School where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Mantooth opened his Live Oak practice in 1976. He has over 35 years of experience in all phases of dentistry, maintaining a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, using the latest restorative materials and procedures. Dr. Mantooth is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest technologies. He combines an exceptional education, extensive experience, and a long-standing personal dedication to improving his patient's dental health.

Dr. Mantooth is a standing member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Locally, he is a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

When not practicing dentistry in the office, Dr. Mantooth loves to spend time with his lovely wife, Janet, and their two small children. He is also an avid Seminole fan. He was a member of the Renegade Team for 23 years and assisted in the creation of the flaming spear for the Seminoles.
